Five Outlet Lubing Cup Drinker - Inc 20L Drum
The Dine a Chook Five Outlet Lubing Cup Drinker with 20L drum ensures all your hens will have access to clean, fresh water.
Reduce the work of keeping chickens with a large Drum Drinker. This Drum will last an average flock for 5+ days, meaning you don't have to worry about filling the Chicken Waterer all week! Plus, by keeping the water clean and free from contaminants like faeces and dirt, your chickens will be healthier and you'll rarely have to scrub out the drinker. Not to mention the dry coop will need less cleaning and there'll be no more damp litter to dispose of!
New Click and Connect Modular
The Dine a Chook drinker system has evolved to ensure a fast and easy setup with minimal maintenance. Our new Click and Connect Modular System allows you to rapidly attach the Lubing Drinker Cups. This system also accommodates for expansions or a reduction in size to suit the size of your poultry flock.
Designed and built right here in Australia, this system has been engineered to ensure leak-free connections for a cleaner and drier chicken coop.
Chicken Drinker for large flocks
A five outlet drinker is suitable for hydrating backyard chicken flocks between 25-40 birds in size. Your hens will quickly take to the new drinking style, and with five outlets there will be plenty of opportunities for each bird to drink and stay hydrated.
As the birds drink their water, the Cups will automatically refill with water from the Australian-made water Drum.
Easy Care Poultry Hydration Station
As with all Dine a Chook products, the Five Outlet Lubing Cup Drinker with water drum is easy to set up and maintain. Place the drum in a shaded spot on a few bricks or a crate and you have yourself an instant water station. The simple design allows you to move the Drinker to where you need it to be, or easily adjust the height to suit your smallest bird. The Drinker Cups should be on eye level for your smallest bird.
For even easier installation, try a sturdy Drinker Stand - adjustable height and built to last!
To care for your Drinker Cups, we recommend hosing them out once a week with a low-pressure garden hose. If they do become particularly soiled, remove the cups and wash in warm soapy water (not hot). To get the most out of your Drinker Cups, disassemble and clean thoroughly every 6 months. Instructions are available on our blog. This will ensure the floats work well and the Cups can automatically refill as they should.

FAQ
Q. How often will I have to refill this Drinker?
A. How long the water in the Drinker lasts will depend on how many birds you have. Diet, weather and breed also influence how much chickens drink. On average, a chicken will drink around 500 ml per day, so a 20 L Drum Drinker could supply a flock of 6 hens for about 6 days. As conditions vary, always monitor the water consumption of your flock carefully to avoid dehydration.
Q. Where should I put a Drum Drinker?
A. Lubing Drinker Cups are designed to be installed at eye-height for chickens. This is best for preventing contamination and facilitating drinking. Install your Drum Drinker so that the Drinking Cups are at eye level for your smallest bird by placing the Drinker on a solid crate, bricks or wood. We love our Steel Drum Drinker stand for an easily-adjustable, sturdy Drinker. Always monitor your birds to ensure they can all access the water.
Q. Does the Drinker develop algae?
A. Dine a Chook Drinkers are designed to block out UV so as to inhibit the growth of algae.
