Installing your Duck Waterer

Nipple Drinker outlets are designed so birds are reaching up at roughly a 45 degree angle to drink. The correct installation height for your waterer will depend on the size of your ducks. Always base height calculations on your smallest bird, to ensure your whole flock can access the Drinker Nipples. Providing a small step such as a brick or paver can help smaller birds access the drinker.

To achieve the correct height for your Duck Waterer, you can place it on a milk crate or some bricks. For easier installation, we recommend a Dine a Chook Drum Drinker Stand. Made of powder-coated steel for long-lasting outdoor use and with a fully-adjustable height system, it makes it easy to install the Duck Drinker at the perfect height for your birds.
