Which Dine a Chook Drinkers can I use with this stand?
This Drum Drinker Stand can be used with all Dine a Chook 20 L Drum Drinkers. That includes our best-selling 20 L Chicken Drinker with 2 Lubing Drinker Cups, our Large Flock Drum Drinker with 5 Lubing Cup outlets and our Mixed Flock Poultry Drinker, which is perfect for ducks and chickens due to a combination outlet of Nipples and Lubing Cups.
Want to be able to fill your Drinker from outside of the coop? Our Extension Drum Drinker makes it possible to situate your Drinker Stand outside of the coop, so you can keep your shoes clean while you check and refill the water.
What height should my Drum Drinker be?
For Lubing Cup Drinkers, the Drinking Cup should be situated just below eye level for your birds. This allows for easy drinking and prevents contamination of the Drinking Cup. Always base your calculations on the height of your smallest bird or provide a step such as a brick or paver so that smaller birds can easily reach the Drinking Cup.
For Lubing Nipple Drinkers, the Nipple outlets should be located so birds are reaching up at approximately a 45 degree angle. Always base height calculations on your smallest bird and/or provide a step (e.g. a brick or paver) to ensure access to water for smaller birds.
The Dine a Chook Difference
We had chickens long before we started Dine a Chook, and we still do! We understand the problems that backyard chicken keepers face and our goal is to provide solutions.
That is why Dine a Chook Chicken Feeders and Drinkers stand out from the competition: Our products have been extensively tested in Australian backyards, including our own! Our patented innovations and unique design features really work to make backyard chicken keeping easier.
We know how important good coop management is. A clean, dry coop, and uncontaminated feed and water, are essential for poultry health. Our Feeders reduce waste, keeping feed dry and off the floor. And our Waterers keep water clean and prevent spillage.
Dine a Chook Feeders and Drinkers are made in Australia, supporting Aussie jobs. And we use genuine Lubing Drinker Outlets from Germany because they are the best for poultry. Our products are built to last and come with an exclusive guarantee. Tested in the harsh Australian climate, don’t run over them with a tractor and we bet you won’t need to buy another Feeder or Drinker again!
As a family business, the most important thing to us is our customers. Need help with an order? Have a chicken keeping question? If you have a question about your flock, give us a call on 1800 103 326 during Queensland business hours.

FAQ
Q. Where do I put the Drum Drinker Stand?
A. The Drum Drinker Stand should be placed on a solid, flat surface. Chickens don't like to drink warm water, so choose a shady spot.
Q. How high should the Drum Drinker be?
A. The Drum Drinker Outlet should be at about neck height for your smallest chicken. You should always monitor your birds to ensure the installation height is correct. Providing a small paver as a step can also help.
