The Dine a Chook Difference
We had chickens long before we started Dine a Chook, and we still do! We understand the problems that backyard chicken keepers face and our goal is to provide solutions.
That is why Dine a Chook Chicken Feeders and Drinkers stand out from the competition: Our products have been extensively tested in Australian backyards, including our own! Our patented innovations and unique design features really work to make backyard chicken keeping easier.
We know how important good coop management is. A clean, dry coop, and uncontaminated feed and water, are essential for poultry health. Our Feeders reduce waste, keeping feed dry and off the floor. And our Waterers keep water clean and prevent spillage.
Dine a Chook Feeders and Drinkers are made in Australia, supporting Aussie jobs. And we use genuine Lubing Drinker Outlets from Germany because they are the best for poultry. Our products are built to last and come with an exclusive guarantee. Tested in the harsh Australian climate, don’t run over them with a tractor and we bet you won’t need to buy another Feeder or Drinker again!

FAQ
Q. What is the Chicken Drinker made from?
A. Dine A Chook drinkers are made with ASA Industrial Plastic. This is stronger and more durable than PVC when exposed to the elements.
Q. Does the plastic release any chemicals into the water?
A. No, our Drinkers are BPA and chemical-free so your hens only get fresh clean water. That includes no glue and no chemical adhesives!
Q. How much water does a hen drink a day?
A. An average hen will consume around 500ml per day. But hens can drink up to a litre in hot weather. Breed, diet, age, size and weather conditions will all influence how much your chickens drink.
Q. Can chicks use Dine a Chook Drinkers?
A. Yes. This small Drinker is ideal for brooders and can be used by chicks from day one (hatching). Drinker Cups are great for chicks because they prevent contamination with chicken poo, don't pose a drowning risk and prevent damp. New chicks need to be shown where to find water and how to drink. You can do this by tapping the Drinker Cup or float with your finger.
Q. Do chickens need to press down on the float in the Drinker Cup?
A. No. Dine a Chook upgraded floats automatically fill the Lubing Cup, maintaining constant water levels.
